Wife Found a New Job

Although the new mortage we got last year helped a LOT, we are still struggling to meet the mortgage payments and our savings have run out.

Fortunatly my wife found a new job last week and as long as nothing goes wrong, everything should be OK now.

I hope others in a similar situation to us have got through the credit crunch/recession without too much damage.

All our savings are gone, but at least we still have our home and things are looking up.

Remortgaged our Home

Today we Remortgaged our Home and got a great home loan deal because of the credit crunch causing serious interest rate cuts.

I do feel sorry for savers though, their revenue from savings must have died recently.

Can Not Afford the Mortgage

We are having real problems keeping up payments with the mortgage.

We over extended on what we could afford if something went wrong when we purchased our home 2 years ago. We were both employed, well paid, and assumed we'd always both be in work, well life doesn't work that way and when my wife lost here job, the mortgage went from easily affordable to a serious struggle!

No idea what we are going to do, we have enough savings to pay the mortgage etc... for about 3 maybe 5 months.

This credit crunch crap sucks!!!!
